One of my awesome readers noted how they loved one of my eBooks, a few moments ago on Twitter. I deeply appreciate the love and said so via a tweet. Literally responding to and engaging eBook customers is a simple, quite easy way to boost repeat eBook sales because eBook fans who get heard often buy more and more eBooks from me. Why? Loving people both appreciate being appreciated and also love giving love to bloggers who put out helpful eBooks. If someone loves one of my eBooks that someone likely will enjoy all of my eBooks. My style is similar; topics are all that changes. But appreciating these fine folks is the lynch pin activity to boost my repeat eBook sales because engagement is the straw that stirs the repeat eBook sale drink. People love chatting me up; people love when I chat them up even more.
Chats carry a magnetic power. I make buddies with my eBook customers because I love and admire my customers. Chatting helps us bond more deeply. Bonding more deeply boosts our trusts factor. Customers trust me even deeper if I engage these rocking folks. Once an eBook customer trusts you deeply, said customer buys virtually any eBook you have to offer. You have a fan. Fans boost repeat eBook sales with alarming ease because they are already all in. No need to convince anyone or to coerce anyone or to try to persuade anyone. Folks; these customers are already onboard. Now the only thing to do is to keep chatting ’em up because customers love what you do, and simply need to keep bonding with you to keep buying your stuff.
Give love to customers who show you love and you better believe these folks will show you even more love by buying more of your eBooks. Simple, eh? But engaging is uncomfortable sometimes because right now, at 11 PM on a Saturday night, I feel tired. I prefer to sleep. I need to engage to keep building trust, though. Scanning Twitter a few moments ago, I observed one of my awesome eBook customers. Again; just chatting up my dear friends who buy my eBooks inspires these awesome folks to buy more of my eBooks. Fans enjoy prior work so fans buy more of your work now and down the road. Engagement seems to be that little nudge that boosts trust and that increases your return sales regularly.
Set aside 10 to 15 minutes daily to engaging your followers. Thank people who tweet your stuff. Message people who Like your stuff. Give props to customers who genuinely enjoy your eBooks. Talk to these friends. Allow your bond to grow even deeper, from a place of greater strength. Be all in on the relationship building process with customers to encourage repeat sales. Simply talking to current customers goads these individuals to become repeat customers. Many of my eBook fans buy more than one read, knowing my style and appreciating my frequent engagement. Give mad love to your fans and customers to build your tribe and to attract more repeat customers.
